INSURANCE POLICY
The Atlanta Dental Group PC accepts most traditional dental insurance plans and once we confirm your dental coverage you will be asked to pay your estimated part of your bill at the time of your service. We will then submit your insurance at no charge to you. After your insurance pays, any remaining balance will be billed to you. We can not guarantee what your insurance company will pay, however, we can submit an insurance preestimate to your insurance company before any major work is done.
You and your dental insurance company have a legal agreement and the Atlanta Dental Group PC is not involved in this agreement. You are our patient and we treat you, not your dental insurance company. Our agreement is with you. Because of this fact, if your dental insurance company fails to honor our request for payment then any balance after three months becomes yours. If the dental insurance payment is less than we originally estimated then the remaining balance after the dental insurance payment must be paid by you within thirty (30) days. We will bill you for the remaining balance, however, there is a billing charge after 30 days of nonpayment.
We do not accept any DMOs, HMOs, PPOs or discount plans.
You must be able to see any dentist that you wish.
We strongly feel that we can not deliver the type of dental care at the level we want to our family of patients with discount plans. We enjoy visiting with our patients without the fear that we might not be able to pay our bills and we are absolutely sure that most other people would leave their jobs when forced to take a 25% pay cut.
If you are interested in making a dental appointment with any of our Georgia Dentists and have dental insurance, we would be more than happy to confirm your coverage by calling your dental insurance company before you make your visit. This allows us to better answer any questions you might have. You can do this by calling our office at 404-874-7428 or by filling out the Appointment & Information Requests form.
DENTAL FINANCING
It is our wish that our patients keep their teeth for their whole lifetime. The benefits of having your teeth during your golden years are enormous. Because of this, the Atlanta Dental Group PC staff will do everything they can to help you with a dental financing program for your needed carea and wanted dental care. Financing for dental treatment helps patients afford needed care by allowing patients to make a monthly payment rather than a large lump sum. We do care about our patients and because we care, our staff goes out of their way to help our patients. Dental financing for patient care helps everyone: the patient, the dentists and the staff.
Our dental staff are experienced and trained in helping our patients with dental work financing. In most cases, if you have official governmental identification, such as a driver's license, and checking account, our staff can get you approved for at least one type of dental payment plan. There's really no excuse for not having your dental care done.
We have been doing dental implant financing for years and if you need a loan for dental work of any kind, we would be happy to assist you in getting it. Once of the most common requests we have is for a dental implant loan. We have been successful in bad credit dental financing, however, you at least must have official government identification and a current checking account with printed checks.
Remember, you are not a bother to us because we are happy to help you with major dental work financing or with a dental financing plan for any kind of dental treatment you desire. We will try to help you get the best dentist payment plan available for your specific situation.
If you need a loan for dental work because you can't afford necessary dental care, our staff are here for you. It's not very hard to apply for a dental loan and with our staff help, most patients get accepted with at least one program. We offer Dental Fee Plan which is also called Capitol One Dental Fee Plan. Capitol One Dental Financing is very similar to traditional consumer loans such as a car loan. Carecredit is a dental credit card that can be used for dental services. Dental Care Credit is offered by GE Care Credit also called Care Credit. Citibank offers its Citi Health Card also called Citi Health Care Card. Citi Health is a new option but is offered by a well know and established bank.
Dental care financing makes getting cosmetic, implant or general dental care possible for almost everyone. The dental loan procedure is simple. Before coming in, collect up all of your important information. We'll need some official identification, usually a driver's license.
If you become an Atlanta Dental Group PC patient and you need a dental patient loan we will do everything we can to help. Since helping people get dental treatment financing often takes time and effort, the Atlanta Dental Group PC staff can only assist patients who actually come into our office and who are committed to getting their dental care at our dental practice. We will even do a payment plan for dentures or any other kind of payment plan for any kind of dental work that we offer. For more information about a dental financing call 404-874-7428.
BILLING POLICIES
Our financial policy requires that payment is due at the time of service.
Patients who do not have insurance can apply for a dental loan through our office.
However, when patients have dental insurance, there are cases where our estimate of how much their dental insurance company is going to pay is wrong. This results in the patient later having a balance due. Insurance companies almost always notify patients of a payment before sending this payment to a dentist. This helps eliminate fraud. The balance due on your account is due then and we expect you to send in the remaining balance.
If we do not receive your payment by the end of the month, a bill will be sent to you through the mail. Please pay this bill promptly. However, we would sincerely appreciate it if you would send your payment before the end of the month so that sending a bill can be avoided. Billing is expensive and involves our staff member's time.
We do not charge for the first two bills but when a patient refuses to pay their balance after two bills we must then charge to send additional bills. A finance charge is added to a patient's account each month that the bill is not paid. This charge offsets our costs. Our dentists in georgia understand that the costs of dental care are an important factor in their patients achieving excellent dental health and our staff is always ready to assist our patients with their financial options.
